What is an Estate Sale?
An estate sale is when every single item in your home is for sale.
What does an Estate Sale cost?
Our flat Service fee is 40% of total sales.
How long does it take to set up an Estate sale?
Typically set up takes about 3 to 4 days.
How many days will an Estate sale last?
On average an Estate Sale is two (2) days, typically Saturday and Sunday.
Should I donate or throw anything away?
No need to remove anything! Surprisingly, everything in the house has a value to someone!
What do I need to do before you handle my estate sale?
Please remove any items you would like to keep. If that is not possible we ask that you put all items you are keeping into one room and we will block that room off during the sale.
Can I still live at home while you conduct my sale?
No, unfortunately it is very difficult to get our work done if you are still living in the residence. In order for us to use our time efficiently and effectively, we kindly request that you and your family make other arrangements during this time. If possible, it is helpful for you to be completely moved out before we begin.
Can friends and family attend my Estate Sale?
Yes, of course! All are welcome!
How do you advertise my sale?
We use various forms of social media, we put advertisements in the local newspaper, and on the day of the sale we will have signage everywhere!
How do you price items for the sale?
As a certified estate salesperson I have access to various websites, which I use for local cost comparisons and price items appropriately.
I want to get the most out of my money, how do I know my items won’t be stolen?
We can’t promise that items won’t be stolen, but we will have cameras set up as well as workers monitoring various parts of the home.
What happens with my remaining items?
You have two choices:
- We can leave items as is and you can take care of disposing them on your own, or
- For an additional 5% we will box up all remaining items and take them to donation, recycle or trash.
In addition, for an additional 5% we will deep clean your house and get it ready for the next owners.
Why should I use your company?
From a very young age I’ve loved sorting, organizing and catergorizing everything and anything. I love what I do because it gives me joy to do the work and help others clean up and clean out!
When will I receive the money from the sale?
We will mail you a check within 5 to 10 business days.
I need to hold an Estate Sale but I live out of state will that be a problem?
No problem! We can communicate via email and over the phone.
I need to hold an Estate Sale but I live out of state will that be a problem?
On the first day of the Estate Sale are we allowed to bargain?
Can I return an item?
No, all sales are final.
Can Anyone purchase items before the sale starts?
